Two Korean blockbuster films have surpassed three million in ticket sales on Christmas Eve.

Figures from the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) showed that two films, "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" and "Steel Rain," have each sold more than 3 million tickets as of December 24.

"Along with the Gods" is the first installment of a two-part series based on a famous webtoon of the same title. It follows a man who is judged in seven hells after death. “Steel Rain,” stars Jung Woo-sung as a North Korean agent on a covert mission to eliminate military leaders plotting a coup.

“Along with the Gods” opened last Wednesday while “Steel Rain” has been in theaters since Dec. 14.
