Incheon Asian Games to Open on Friday

The Incheon Asian Games will open on Friday for a 16-day run.
The event’s opening ceremony will be held at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium at six p.m. Friday.
Under the slogan, “Diversity Shines Here,” the event will bring together athletes from all 45 members of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), including North Korea.
South Korea is aiming to rank second or higher in the overall medal tally for the fifth consecutive time, with a goal of securing more than 90 gold medals.
KBS will broadcast the opening ceremony from 6:30 p.m.
