South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan won his third straight medal in the men's 400-meter freestyle race at the Asian Games Tuesday.
Park finished the race in three minutes and 48-point-33 seconds to win a bronze, falling behind China's Sun Yang and Japan's Kosuke Hagino.
Park came up short of winning his third straight Asian Games gold in this distance, after placing first at the Doha Asian Games in 2006 and the Guangzhou Asian Games in 2010.
Park has brought home three medals from the Incheon Asiad so far, winning bronze medals in the freestyle 200-meter individual event and the 800-meter freestyle relay event.
His Asian Games medal count has grown to 17, including six gold, three silver and eight bronze.
Park will vie for his second straight gold in the 100-meter freestyle individual race on Thursday.
