S. Korea Grabs Gold in Men's Badminton Team Event for First Time in 12 Yrs.

South Korea grabbed the gold medal in the men’s badminton team event on Tuesday at the Incheon Asian Games.
 
South Korea beat China 3-2 after a close contest that lasted for over five hours. 

Thanks to strong performances by Lee Yong-dae, Yoo Yeon-seong and Lee Hyung-il, South Korea grabbed the gold in the event for the first time in 12 years.
 
South Korea also took the gold in the men’s judo team event after beating Kazakhstan 4-1. The men’s judo team event was first introduced in the Incheon Asian Games.
 
South Korea added two gold medals in fencing, including the men’s epee team event and the women’s sabre team event.
 
In the equestrian competition, South Korea’s Hwang Young-shik grabbed his second gold medal after beating fellow South Korean Kim Dong-seon in the dressage individual event.
 
For track cycling, South Korean cycling legend Cho Ho-sung took the silver in the men’s omnium event.
 
Swimmer Park Tae-hwan won a bronze medal in the men’s 400-meter freestyle event. He has won medals in three competitions at the Asian Games but has failed to win gold.
