S. Korea Defeats Japan, Advances to Asiad Football Semifinal

South Korea beat Japan 1-0, securing a place in the men’s football semifinals at the Incheon Asian Games.
At the match held on Sunday, South Korea's Jang Hyun-soo scored in the 88th minute with a penalty kick given after Japan's Ryota Ohshima's foul on Lee Jong-ho.
South Korea is set to compete in the semifinal against Thailand on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, North Korea won against the United Arab Emirates 1-0 in a quarterfinal match.
