South Korea Beats Taiwan 6-3 to Win Gold in Baseball at Asiad

South Korea’s baseball team made a dramatic comeback in the eighth inning to beat Taiwan 6-3 in Sunday’s final to win a gold medal at the Incheon Asian Games.
It is the country’s second consecutive Asiad victory in the sport since winning the Guangzhou Games in 2010, where it also beat Taiwan 9-3.
Japan won a bronze medal with a 10-0 victory over China in the third-place decider held prior to the final.
South Korea’s baseball team has won four of the six Asian Games ever held since the sport was incorporated into the Asiad in 1994.
