A Seoul-based civic group composed of North Korean defectors flew anti-Pyongyang leaflets across the inter-Korean border toward the North Saturday morning.

Ten members of "Fighters for a Free North Korea" flew 300-thousand leaflets in large balloons from a mountain in Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province at 5 a.m.

The balloons also contained two-thousand one-dollar U.S. bills, one-thousand DVDs and 500 booklets denouncing North Korea's nuclear and missile threats and the third-generation dynastic power succession.

The leaflets were sent to the North to coincide with the 105th birthday of North Korea's founding leader Kim Il-sung.
