The Seoul city government says that it will hold a summer night culture festival in the Gwanghwamun area on Friday and Saturday.
 
A variety of music concerts will be staged at Seoul Plaza from 6 p.m. until a quarter past eleven at night during the two-day event.
 
Friday’s musicians include Kim Ban-jang, Ha Rim and the Go Go Boys. On Saturday, Cherry Filter and Classic Spectacular will take the stage.
 
Latin dance performances will be held from 11: 15 p.m. to midnight on Saturday. On-the-spot dance classes will also be offered for those interested.
 
The festival will also feature an exhibition of snow sculptures which will be open at Gwanghwamun Plaza.
 
The embassies of the U.K. and the Philippines, and the Indian Cultural Center will join the festival by making themselves open to public access and showcasing their traditional cultures.
 
Sixty-two museums and galleries will extend their operations to 10 p.m. during the period.
