U.S. President Donald Trump says the North Korean nuclear issue has reached a point where “something has to be done.”
According to The Hill, a U.S. political news Web site, Trump made the remark in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday. He also said the issue should have been handled by the previous U.S. administrations over the past 25 years.
In particular, Trump criticized the Obama administration, saying that government should have taken care of it. He said the situation is at a very far advanced point, adding “We can not allow this to happen.”
Trump has recently indicated a possible military option against the North with such remarks as “the calm before the storm” and “only one thing will work.”
