The Han River Spring Flower Festival will kick off Sunday across all Han River parks.

The festival will continue for over 50 days through May 21st.

Golden bells and cherry blossoms will be the first to greet citizens along the riverside. Yellow canola flowers will bloom from early May followed by various types of roses in mid-May.

Spring blossoms will cover a combined 42 kilometers of flower paths created on green zones and along bike roads at Han River parks.

Other festivals and events will also accompany the seasonal vista.

Every Friday and Saturday, free concerts and exhibitions will take place at the Floating Stage in Yeouido and the Gwangjingyo 8th Avenue, which is a cultural area located beneath Gwangjin Bridge.

One hundred street artist teams will also move around the Han River parks and put on performances.
