South Korean golfer Park Sung-hyun has won her first LPGA tournament of the 2018 season.
Park finished with a two-round total of 11-under 131 at the Old American Golf Club in Texas on Sunday to win the 36-hole Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic.
The tournament was reduced to two rounds due to torrential downpours, but the poor weather didn’t affect Park as she secured her third LPGA title and first since August last year.
With the win, Park also claimed 195-thousand dollars in prize money. Along with Park, five other South Korean golfers finished in the top 10, including Kim Se-young who finished fourth and Shin Ji-eun who finished sixth.
