The National Court Administration has refused judges’ requests to make public all documents related to accusations of judiciary abuse during the Park Geun-hye administration.

Former Supreme Court Chief Justice Yang Seung-tae is accused of keeping tabs on judges and pressuring them to make rulings that would be politically favorable to the Park administration.

A nationwide association of judges says it wanted a total of 410 relevant documents made public.

The National Court Administration says it is keeping about 230 documents private, saying they do not have a close relation to the case.

However, the administration says it may be possible for a limited number of judges to review the documents.
