Several North Korean movies will be screened at a South Korean film festival that kicks off this week.
The organizers of the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival said on Tuesday that it received a grant from the government for the public screening of nine North Korean films.
The films, including three feature-length movies and six shorts, were made in North Korea from the 1980s up until recently and will be shown at a special screening event during the festival that runs from July 12th to the 22nd.
One of them, “The Story of Our Home” produced in 2016, received several awards at the Pyongyang International Film Festival.
