The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose three-point-68 points, or point-17 percent on Monday, ending the day at two-thousand-180-point-73. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ climbed four-point-73 points, or point-65 percent. It closed the day at 733-point-47.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-124-point-seven won.
