The U.S. is applying stronger trade pressure on South Korea and other countries.

The U.S. International Trade Commission(ITC) said on Monday that it decided to maintain antidumping duties and countervailing duties imposed on steel products imported from South Korea, India and Indonesia, adding the lifting of the tariffs would be expected to repeat damages to U.S. firms.

On the same day, the U.S. Commerce Department said it has begun looking into the possibility of imposing tariffs on large-sized steel pipes imports from South Korea, China, India and Turkey.
